Pete Gritton
Vice President, Human Resources
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc.

Pete Gritton is Vice President of Human Resources at Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc. (TEMA), located in Erlanger, Kentucky. TEMA is responsible for Toyota's North American engineering design and development, R&D and growing manufacturing activities in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Mr. Gritton has also held the positions of General Manager of Human Resources, Assistant General Manager of Production Control, and Assistant General Manager of Human Resources while at TMMK.

Prior to joining Toyota in November 1986, Mr. Gritton was Industrial Relations Manager for National Southwire Aluminum Company in Hawesville, Kentucky. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science and a master's degree in communications from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

A native of Caneyville, Kentucky, Mr. Gritton resides in Georgetown, Kentucky. He has served as a member of the Scott County-Georgetown Joint Planning and Zoning Commission, Chairman of the Lexington Fayette Urban League Board of Directors, as well as the Corporate Chair of the YMCA Black Achievers Program. He presently serves as a board member of Bluegrass Tomorrow and the Saint Joseph HealthCare Board of Directors and co-chair of the United Way of the Bluegrass campaign.
